The Yaraba cushion collection is anything but ordinary. Each cushion is crafted from an unexpected source: the strong, silky fibres of the banana plant. After the harvest, the plant naturally dies, and what is usually discarded or burned is given a second life with us. In India, these unique yarns are hand-processed by our ‘knitting moms’; women who, through their craftsmanship, are building a better future. They receive training, recognition, and work in a safe, local environment. In doing so, we not only strengthen their economic position, but also help preserve cultural traditions and communities.
