Production Process
Fibre cement is a powerful and versatile material that is increasingly used in furniture design. It consists of a mix of cement, water, mineral fillers and reinforcing cellulose fibres. The result? A material that combines the industrial character of concrete with the light sophistication of ceramic.
With its smooth finish, subtle texture and tough look, fibre cement fits perfectly into both minimalist and warm interior styles. Moreover, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor furniture.
Care instructions
For daily maintenance, a soft cloth with lukewarm water is sufficient. For more soiling, a mild, pH-neutral detergent can be added. Always wipe the surface with a dry cloth to avoid water spots. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents such as chlorine, vinegar or all-purpose cleaners with an abrasive effect - these can damage the surface.
Spilled liquids such as wine, oil or coffee should be removed immediately with a damp cloth to avoid staining. Are stubborn marks still visible? Then clean carefully with a soft brush and mild soapy water, preferably in circular movements.
When used outdoors, fibre cement is resistant to rain, wind and sun. Nevertheless, we recommend regular cleaning during autumn and winter, especially in wet weather or leaves and dirt accumulation. A well-drained, paved surface helps to prevent splashing dirt or prolonged contact with moisture. Those who want extra protection can treat the surface with a transparent water-repellent coating - this is optional, but can help prevent dirt adhesion.
To avoid damage, we recommend always using felts or coasters under hard or sharp objects.
