wool that feels like walking on clouds

Wool has a rich texture that adds warmth and comfort to any interior. The fibre can be dyed in a wide range of colours, allowing our designers to get creative with this natural material resulting in elegant wall decorations, soft blankets, ....

Manufacturing process

The journey of wool starts with the shearing of the skin of sheep.  After shearing, the wool is washed to remove dirt and grease, a process known as 'wool washing'. Next, the wool is combed and spun into threads, which in turn can be woven or knitted into fabrics.

Care instructions

All our woollen rugs and plaids are labelled with specific instructions, which we will explain in detail below.

We recommend weekly vacuuming of woollen carpets so that dust particles, allergens, etc. do not penetrate the fibres. For this, use a hoover with good suction and a soft brush head.

In case of stains on your woollen rug/plaid, it is important to dab them up immediately with a dry cleaning cloth so that as much moisture as possible is absorbed. Has the stain done more damage? Then clean it with cold water and a wool-safe detergent and rub from the outside to the centre of your rug or plaid.

Properties

  • Hypoallergenic: like linen, wool is naturally hypoallergenic and can be a good choice for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
  • Temperature regulating: wool has the ability to insulate in cold weather and stay cool in warm weather. As a result, wool can help keep the temperature in a room comfortable regardless of the season.
