At the heart of our design philosophy three words take center stage: Aesthetics, Energy and Emotion. For me, these elements form the backbone of an interior that is not only pleasing to the eye, but also reflects one’s soul.
This philosophy is beautifully reflected in the story of Harvest Kitchen, located in the Barossa Valley in Australia. Nestled among idyllic vineyards, this modern sleek building arises in a natural setting, creating a unique ambiance with the use of wood and the presence of stunning views. Light dances through its spaces, creating a warm and inviting feeling.
Its kitchen is an ode to freshness and originality. Self-harvested ingredients are creatively combined, surprising the taste buds. Each dish is served in sets of three, meant to be shared. Harvest Kitchen’s natural, no-nonsense approach is reflected in both flavors and service. Smooth, friendly and authentic.
My sources of inspiration are diverse and endless. Whether it’s a visit to a restaurant, a store, a vacation, or a day spent at a museum. Everywhere, I find elements that nourish my creative process. My inspiration switch is always on, constantly searching for that unique element to transform a space into something truly special.
For me, a home reflects a soul. This place has a huge impact on how I feel and the constant evolution of who I am and aspire to be. You can immediately sense, upon entering a space, if it aligns energetically, aesthetically and emotionally. This feeling emanates from a specific balance within that space. I feel it instantly when entering
a hotel, a restaurant or a coworking space.
This balance has to be right. The perfect dining experience only comes to life when concept and experience align with the host’s soul. It goes far beyond just serving delicious food. All senses are stimulated, immersing you in the universe of their specific experience.
A perfect example is “The dining experience that doesn’t end”. The founder managed to fully translate her vision into food with a central focus on experience. Through depth and a soulful moment, an inexhaustible source of energy emerged, so to speak. The result? A dining experience that did not seem to end.
For me, Pomax’ strenght lies in the totality, the look, and the experience of the entire collection. I am currently working on translating that overall experience into a soulful dining collection that meets the specific needs of the hospitality sector.

What is the essence of our unique brand style? For me, it lies in the seamless blend of classic and robust elements with a modern design language. This commitment to authenticity and creative innovation, is rooted in the soul of our brand and extends to all our interior, retail, and hospitality projects.
For example, I often encountered the challenge of finding the right atmospheric, yet functional floor lighting. Out of this necessity, EIVISSA was born. This atmospheric lighting fixture is crafted using the age-old art of papier-mâché, the main ingredient of which is recycled paper. This method only made its appearance in France in the 17th century. Long before that, in 200 BC, this technique was already used in China. And even today we still apply this technique because it is the perfect material to create this large floor lamp, providing the needed strength without making the lamp unnecessarily heavy.
We live in a consumer society where pure raw materials are becoming increasingly scarce and slowly unaffordable. Therefore, as a stylist I find it crucial that we are mindful of our materials and start to repeatedly recycle them.
When I am looking for fresh ideas or need to recharge, I have to move. Daily life is an endless source of inspiration to me. I read a book, visit my favourite shops or go on a nice trip, and my soul is filled with new energy and impressions.
I still remember when I was young, every Sunday evening, my father - an excellent chef - would cook and my mother would create an unforgettable banquet table. The cosiness and warm atmosphere could be felt from afar. That feeling from back then still forms the basis of my designs today. Everything I design, I try to make as timeless as possible. We may respond to trends which automatically leads to more replaceable items, but I still strive to create collections with a timeless look and feel.
Quality is at the heart of it all. Although we have been an established name for years, we want to keep a fresh perspective. We are always looking for new ways to be more mindful about the way we create, improving the premiumness of our products and producing more basic timeless collections. It is our responsibility to provide an offering that is right for our customers today ànd tomorrow.

A home, to me, is more than just a place where I feel at ease—it is a sanctuary to unwind, recharge, and even be a bit silly when the mood strikes. It is a canvas where I can express myself, surrounded by things that bring joy, both material and immaterial. It is a place where souls travel and meet.
Our ANDALUCIA collection perfectly embodies this ethos. The richness and raw materials, sourced from recycled and reclaimed wood, tell a tale of history from the demolition of old houses. These materials, bearing scars and character, share a part of their story. The fusion of aged elements in contemporary designs adds an intriguing touch, making it authentic, yet versatile for various interiors.
